Design-build, roof repair and replacement job in Santa Fe, NM at the U.S. Army Reserve Center NM009 involving multiple buildings for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers/U.S. Army Reserve Command. Project entailed investigation, assessment and complete design analysis of existing roof conditions, with 100% preparation of design to remove and reinstall 1300 SF of existing membrane across five (5) roof sections. Survey results, building code (including fire protection, life safety, environmental and accessibility codes) review, needed and available equipment, and all other material data and documentation were carefully considered in the course of design preparation.   Equipment pads, conduit supports and safety rails were then installed. Manufacturer warranty required repairs were performed, and new coverboard and two-ply modified bitumen were installed per the extended manufacturer’s 20-year, no-dollar-limit roof system warranty. Change orders included removal of metal wall panels and roofing up of wall with JM Dynaclad. Project was delivered within budget and well ahead of schedule, earning high marks for Safety, Project Management, and Scheduling from the Client during formal review.
